Sky are offering a new kind of dual-play offer aimed at the streaming video crowd which bundles together Sky Mobile and Sky TV.
Sky Mobile, like giffgaff and Tesco Mobile, uses the O2 network for voice calls and data.
For £35 a month the deal includes a new iPhone SE handset on a Swap24 plan, with 500MB of data, unlimited calls and texts and Sky TV’s Variety bundle.
It is a recognition of the changing state of media in the UK, where many customers prefer not to have a landline at home that they never use, as well as relying on their phone to provider them with all the internet access they need.
It’s available to new Sky customers, or existing Sky TV customers who re-sign to a new contract.
Sky boast that the deal offers the UK’s lowest monthly price with no upfront cost for the iPhone SE, at just £10 a month.
The offer also includes a £7 a month discount for Sky’s Variety Bundle on Sky Q, which now costs £25 a month.
The Variety Bundle includes over 70 channels not available on Freeview, including the UK home of Game of Thrones, Sky Atlantic, plus the Sky Kids app for the best kids’ TV shows available on demand or to download.
The offer runs from Friday 25 August until Thursday 14 September 2017.
Sky Mobile customers can change their data mix every month depending on how much they use. Any unused data is automatically rolled over into a ‘Sky Piggybank’ and saved for up to three years, for customers to dip into whenever they like.
