Samsung Pay: Everything you Need to Know 1

Samsung creates a virtual piggybank for cash backs and rewards

Samsung has announced it is offering a virtual piggy bank for Samsung Rewards and Samsung Pay as a single location for users to deposit reward points and cash back features wherever they accrue them.

The Samsung Pay Wallet combines Samsung Rewards into Samsung Pay in a way that gives users reward points every time they use the payment service whatever you buy, where you are doing the business or how you pay for it.

The points accrue in your Pay Wallet. In effect, the more you use Samsung’s systems the more will be thrown into your piggy bank.

Samsung Rewards was launched in 2016 alongside Samsung Pay to help their customers derive more value from the service and give users the opportunity to be involved with a wide range of experiences across channels such as Bixby Home and through the camera app.

These include Samsung Pay, Samsung Health and Samsung Internet. There is also Bixby Vision and Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9+ which lets you pay directly with your phone.

We have a chance to give consumers a benefit. Anytime they enter through our Samsung touchpoints and complete a mobile transaction, we have a chance to give them a distinct benefit, a cash back reward, plus Samsung Rewards if they are using Samsung Pay.

There is a distinct reason to shop with us if you’re on our platform. We want our customers to know that Samsung is the most rewarding place to shop.

Here’s how it works

In the new Cash Back section of Samsung Pay app’s home screen, you will find a range of exclusive offers from leading retailers. When you click on the offer you want and then complete a purchase, you will receive a percentage back, which you can then spend toward a purchase, anywhere using Samsung Pay.

The cash back feature is available with certain shops, enabling them to offer their own cash back rewards. At the moment they are separate from Samsung Rewards and any points or rewards accrued by credit cards stored in the Samsung Wallet. They can, though stack up to deliver benefits to the customer.

In addition, Samsung customers will be given the opportunity to buy points within Samsung Rewards. Enabling them to round out rewards purchases they wish to make but are just short of.
